Thank You & Update
Hi All,
Over the last week or so (and after posting my idea of a news network), I have received so many direct messages and replies to this proposal I just wanted to say a massive thank you.
I am pretty new to the forum and stumbled across the diecast racing scene a while ago but have only recently got involved.
Direct Messages - huge thanks to Sunshine City Garage, Chris Hood, Zamak Speed Shop, Dutch Clutch Racing, RLD, Chaos Canyon and Dr Dodge for all the direct message convos which contained fantastic advice, offers of assistance and feedback - I really do appreciate that.
Coverage - the form I set up to list your leagues/tournaments so I can scout around and view races is populating and again thank you so much - Goat Hill Climb Racing, Abnormal Speed Racing, NASCAR NITTRO Series, Chaos Canyon, No Time Kings and Dutch Clutch Racing events appearing on there. Also thank you Dr Dodge for the email, I confirm receipt and that news van and camera set WOW! just wow.
Also thank you to the offer of assistance with pit lane reporting over at the Zamak Dragway and I can confirm "Cole Striker" will be our pit reporter over there with all the latest news.
I also received an email last night from 3Dbotmaker giving permission to use snippets from their channel and echoing your kind messages from here.
This brings me to the point which is my plan is to cover as much as I can across many different formats and levels, whether that is racing at home with just your family/friends or a tournament with your own channel. Racing Is Racing.
Plan - I would like to post a news episode every Friday/Saturday, so it gives me a week to grab content for the show. Also with a weeks grace I don't spoil any of the great racing action by posting any results too soon. As a one-man band I know there is a lot out there but hopefully as time moves on I can collaborate with a few others (team effort and all that) as I have done with Zamak and Dr Dodge.
We have our first interview scheduled, this will be in written form on the blog with Sunshine City Garage.
As a newbie here, I'm happy to take any DMs from people who want to know more about me, my background etc, because that is trust and let's be honest you are trusting me with your info and content so it is only fair.
Once again, thank you so much and I hope I can at least do this some justice until I can get racing on my own home track.

Man, I love everything about this!
- No pressure then haha. Thank you hope it comes across well. — DiecastRacingNews
- No pressure at all lol… you’re gonna nail it — Last_and_Furious
The pilot episode is being put together and I am now 7 minutes and 56 seconds in, with a few more bits to add.
I have asked someone to have a quick preview of the first 7 minutes just so I can gauge reaction before I add any further content, don't want to be travelling down the wrong road.

Excited for you mate!! To hear back from The Big Guy already, wow!! The foundation is firming up quickly, cheers!
- Appreciate that Chris, pilot episode is 11 minutes long already. — DiecastRacingNews
- I am excited to see it! — dr_dodge
"Keep it PG-13" -ancient Hollywood proverb
I would also add that I've found anything over 15minutes struggles to get many views (or maybe that's just my channel). I think for most diecast related content 8-12 mins seems to be the sweet spot for the best mix of viewing pleasure and view counts.
- Totally agree I’m looking for news, updates, a touch of entertainment, and the occasional insight. Too much fluff too often gets in the way. — AbbyNormal
- Doing my best to keep this under that sweet spot. With the offers and shares, I may have to do 2 episodes a week haha. — DiecastRacingNews
- Back 4-5 years ago when I was doing there was a lot of racing, and that's only grown since then with lots of new tracks, although a lot have fallen off as well. — Chaos_Canyon
- Yes, although I only have a few permissions at the moment my research on the channels did show a lot of toureys/leagues. Really appreciate the insight and experienced advice Chaos and I am taking all of your comments onboard. Thank you so much. — DiecastRacingNews
- Spooky as I am literally just watching back a few of your news shows and taking notes on layout and timings etc. High benchmark that, fantastic content. — DiecastRacingNews

Exciting stuff!
