The Redline Rumble
The basement has dried out but it's still in shambles, honestly. We had to rip out 1000 sq ft of carpet as well as make some wall repairs. But the major stuff is done for now until we get around to laying down some new flooring...sooo...I'm trying to get things in order so I can at least get my track back up and run a race, at least The Rumble.
I have no ETA at this point, I'm sorry. Hopefully sooner than later but it's not easy with all the chaos of at-home day job, parenting, etc. (like we're all dealing with). I know people are antsy and I'm sitting on all your cars that were gong to run. I'm getting antsy too, believe me, and if I can just get the Rumble run and the cars back to their homes, I'll be happy at this point.
- Do what ya gotta do. Only time I normally get to work on these things is when everyone is in bed, otherwise its chaos and not happening so I feel ya. Even if you have to toss the track together for one ROWDY night of dirty racing in the disaster of a basement you have left, Im sure itll be a fun time regardless and maybe fitting for the theme of the race! — Mattman213

I know...me too. Sadly, everything on my end is taking a lot longer than I had hoped, so I honestly have no idea when I'll be racing here at HQ. Sooo...if anyone wants their Rumble cars back, please shoot me a PM and I will get the cars shipped out in batches over the coming weeks.
But that being said...there will be a Redline Rumble, mark my words. But I know having perfectly good cars sitting in the parking lot is frustrating. Sorry for the endless delays.

I've been excited about this race too, these were the first mods I made and shipped out. Looking forward to seeing them go down the track. Sorry to hear about the flooded basement too, that's never fun to deal with:/
I think we're ready to rumble
My race track has been rebuilt and it's time to put it through its paces...and the only way I know how to do that is by racing! I'm still working on a few adjustments to the finish line but that should be all done this week.
So...if you were one of the folks that got their Rumble car back and still want to enter now, please shout out so I can take all that into consideration when penciling in some dates.
I'll be cracking open all the entries that were sent in the Spring and taking inventory. They're all still in the boxes! I'll post the roster and see exactly who and what we have. I wasn't planning on opening this up to any new entries since it's been delayed so long already. If we have less than 30 entries, so be it, we'll still do the elimination-style format. I'll do another Rumble race next year.
My sincere apologies that it's taken 6-months to get this race back on track. It's amazing for me to look back at all the shit that's happened since March but that's how it goes sometimes. I'll do my best with this one and we'll see what happens. Thank you for your extreme patience and support.

I opened all the boxes I had received back in the Spring to take stock of who I got cars from.
Here are the cars I have from people that were in the original entry list:

And I have cars from a couple that weren't in the original sign-up, so either they changed their name since then or they just wanted to jump in, which at this point, is fine.

I know that's not the 30-car Rumble that was promised but I know we're all anxious to get this one in the books so we'll roll with what we got and see who comes out on top.
