Top Sportsman Series (New schedule)
I'm completely tickled!
After breaking apart in the first race in California, and getting shown up at home by Cameron's stock Johnny-Viper, then being lost down in Beaumont for a couple of weeks, my Johnny-FTE hybrid Chevelle has persevered and made me proud.
Can't wait to see Econo and Smitty battle it out down in Texas.
Congrats JDC442. That Chevelle was awesome today. When that little driver climbed out and drank his teeny tiny bottle of milk and did a back flip, it nearly brought a tear to my eye. The FOTF boys still havent gotten over the Vette and Viper both finishing off of the podium. As for Sinisterdog Racing, it was a learning experience, and perhaps next time we'll have a better showing. Thanks for helping the LJLRC host and run this tournament. And once again, an invitation is extended to have future tournaments take a shot at the FOTF Speedway. I believe my son Cameron has or will post some pictures on the Lincoln Johnny Lightning Race Club's Facebook page.
I would also like to congratulate JDC442 on his points victory with our first Top Sportsman series. I will be mailing out a first place points trophy along with a one year FREE membership card to the Lincoln Johnny Lightning Race Club. Also with a FREE Basic Membership to the LJLRC you will be receiving a monthly online newsletter to the club which includes all the latest on Johnny Lightning/Diecast news and anything else to do with our club. Again congrats on your win! One more note this pertains to everyone that has won this year in the following series races. I would like to have a special race added to our December 2nd Finals which would be the people that have won there respected classes. Featherweight Challenge series 1 and 2, Gasser Wars 1 and 2, Top Sportsman series 1 and 2, and the winner of the Truck O Rama race. Very easy your car that won the points I would like you to mail to me so we can have a race off to see what car is the fastest. Again this will take place on 12/2/12 (Finals) and the winner will receive a first place trophy along with a one year FREE Basic Membership. This will be a single elimination! Lets Race!
The Top Sportsman cars made it to Beaumont today.
The race for second place will be Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!
The plan is to race them tomorrow after I get home from work (I use that term loosely!). Martha takes care of her mom most Sundays so I'll probably be running the races solo. If that's the case there won't be any race by race results being posted. More to come tomorrow!

Who won these? Anybody know off the top of their head. I 'm pretty sure JDC442 won a couple and Carl won at least one or two. There were stock and mods in the first Featherweights.

Carl, thanks for posting all the winners that have won their respective series! I will be doing a special race at our December 2nd Finals for all the winners that have won their series. Featherweight sereis 1 and 2, Gasser Wars 1 and 2, Top Sportsman series 1 and 2, and the winner of the Truck O Rama race and Chevelle cup race.
