As I start to get back into the groove, we are making a big push to finish the track. I have changed walls, cleaned everything up, and the track is laid out in position. I have a new workbench coming Wednesday and a few hinges to finish off the start gate and the finish line going into the new Slanman 180-degree turn. As soon as I place them permanently I can attach/adhere the track pieces into place.

If all goes right, I can have it all back together and running Wednesday night. Getting excited!
During the down times I have been preparing for my first hosting race which I have planned for June 20th, 2026. Look for the announcement coming soon. While I have most of the organizing duties needed ready to be a host, my next step after the track is permanently attached; will be to start getting video angles down for race result production. Been test driving software and how to work with it, so maybe I can attach some old cell phones at the right places to capture the raw video and edit later.
Other than that, things are finally progressing again. I am thankful for all I have learned from everyone here and for the great forums here that I have read and even re-read many posts. The information here is a tremendous help in learning the ins and outs of how to host a race event.
