*****MAIL IN TOURNAMENT *****

Hey racefans! Thank you everyone for enjoying the races.

We here at the Amigos DCR proudly announce our first mail in tournament for everybody.

Tuff-e-Nuff: Hard as Nails

All 1/64th scale diecast cars welcome. Cars must be modeled after a real production or concept car. No Fantasy cars allowed. Cars must be customized and weigh at least 45 but no more than 95 grams.

All lubrications are acceptable, however if it drips or leaks the car will not race.

Paint jobs are not required, but enjoyable if you choose to do so.

***important notice***
The cars have a good chance of wrecking, crashing, and flying off of the track due to the aggresive nature of the course. If the cars are not easily put back together and able to continue racing, a replacement car will take its place or if no car is available, removed from the tournament.

Two cars max for racing (1 for reserve or replacement if you wish, please delineate when mailing in). Please send in driver name and team name with cars. Additionally inform us the weight at the time of shipping.

Now for the tournament rules.

We are looking for groups of 16 cars per tournament. We will have 4 tournaments total next year.
As cars come in, they will intitially be time trialed on both lanes. The faster time will be utilized for seeding purposes and tournament placement.

Seeding is based off of the time trial, 1-16.

Racing will be 4 groups of 4 cars. Top 2 from each group advance at each stage until the final.

Scoring will be as follows. 1st=5 points, 2nd=3, 3rd= 2, 4th=1. In the case of all cars not finishing, the race will be rerun.

We are shooting for a start date about mid January. But more cars we recieve sooner, the sooner it will start.

Cars will be placed and trialed into the tournaments in order recieved.

All time trials and tournament seeding will be posted right here at the Amigos DCR page.

What you are racing for: An official Amigos DCR Tuff-e-Nuff shirt. Which can also be purchased at our page on Teespring. See the post before or follow the link on YouTube.

Address and car returns:
Please ship to:

Prevost Construction
Attn: Michelle
400 South Sierra Ave.
Suite 201
Solana Beach, CA 92075

We will post when cars are recieved.

For returns, at time of shipping please let us know that you would like your car(s) back. Please include shipping cost for return postage.

Cars will be returned after final tournament video release.

The top 2 cars will be held for a champions event at the end of the year, and possibly live races right here on the page. If you dont want your car(s) to be in follow on tournaments or live events, please let us know when you ship so we can find a replacement car and driver.

If you want you cars to be held for future events please let us know that as well.

Thats it, pretty simple. I sincerely am looking forward to this along with Maniac Michelle.

Here is the link to the facebook page where every thing will be posted as well.

  • Well, if nothing else, you at least have enough to run a matchup. A few more would be nice, though - I don't want to be the slowest car on the track. — SpyDude
