Unrealistic Idea....(NOT REAL)
I came back from one of my junior golf tournaments to watch the Tour de France (bike race). Then I thought to myself, What if someone made a 1 to 2 mile (distance of the average stage 1/64th scale) open track, 4 cars wide with 150-200 cars racing (like the real thing)? It would be timed, lots of math and open track things(Gspeeds fav) and you could have the Tour. What do you think? Stupidly unrealistic?

Thought of it..so funny I had to post.

Unrealistic?...probably. Right up my alley?...definately! I'm all about the idea of dream too. (lol)

... I have some curves, 90*s & 180*s & a 180* dual, a 2 to 1 unit, 24" orange, red, blue and yellow track [willing to help]
That would be a sight to behold.
If Im reading you correctly you're proposing a HW track that is actually 1 or 2 miles long.
Where would ya do it, and who's gonna fund it? Maybe you could shoot a query to one of those reality shows that do that kind of thing. I saw one from the UK where they made a 2 lane Scalextric slot track that was like 2 and a half miles long. (doesn't really apply...but its still pretty cool)
