Watching this thing grow

There are almost 80 players listed in the league rankings. It would be totally cool if even half of these players submitted brackets on a regular basis. I love seeing this thing grow in popularity. I sat out last season to spend more time with my new baby Calvin, but had so much fun the first couple of seasons that I had to get my fiance and her oldest son Forrest to play this time around. I watched Danielle do her first picks and didn't help her cause she asked me not to. For her very first Fantasy picks I thought she did pretty good...we'll see. Watch out, she could be a force to reckon with

Speaking on the population, I need to find a nice way to do some pruning of dead accounts. I admit seeing 75+ people signed up us awesome but I know for a fact than 30 or less are actively playing week after week. I do track the date when people login so after this first set of races I may look at sending out a mailer asking people to verify their continued interest in playing...but to do that I need to evoke some sort of "inactive" status for accounts so if people want to reinstate their account later they can...and also so it doesn't screw up all the data.
Even though this season hasn't really gotten underway yet, the small growth that I've seen in build-up has been amazing and appreciated. Lots of you have taken advantage of the promo codes and even the "invite a friend" feature, which is awesome. I'm hoping this year will gain new people throughout the season.
