Web site now more secure, SSL installed

I recently purchased a security certificate for the site (SSL) so now data being passed back and fourth is more secure than it was before.

I know that things here are not "top secret" by any means...we're not passing around credit cards or anything like that, but having a secure site is just good practice these days. And should we ever need more security in the future, we'll already be qualified.

I've spot checked things since I turned this on Monday night and haven't seen any problems. However, if you do find anything weird happening, please post or send an email.

There's a slim chance some bookmarks may no longer work and it's possible your browser may choose not to remember your login information until you log in again...but that will probably vary depending on which browser you're using. It didn't happen for me using Chrome.

It's also worth noting that your browser may notify you that some elements on any given RLD page are "insecure" or something of that nature. Any page that has a link to an insecure web site will trigger your browser warning, and since many of the images we share are coming from insecure sites, many topics will probably fall under this category. 

All in all, your experience should not be affected in any major way.
