Which method is better

RalphsRacers Sunday, 12/29/2024

The first clip was done with 3 cameras, obviously will take longer to edit but personally I prefer or the second one with 2 cars less excitement, can't really raise of the ground and don't have much room to work with for the length of track

I liked the last angle and I think if you started with that and ended with a second shot at the finish line it would be perfect.

The single take is good, so you can tell it is all the same take but it would be good to have a finish line cam that you can use if needed for a close race, as that middle angle won't really catch the winner

  • Yes, only use the finish line camera on a close race. — alva1370

This short video has somehow made it to 650 views with 12 likes at the moment. Let's see if I can get the same for the actual race

Three cuts for a single run make "more" from a short, gives punch to the visuals. For "serious racing" where you'll carry forward the results in a series I think the one shot start to finish is the way to go.

There can be benefits to a multi camera approach in even simple drag racing; I feel that's better saved for long form content, my two cents. Unfortunately the best example I would offer to you doesn't exist on the platform anymore

I like the first with the flyby, but maybe you could combine both and use one of the footage for any worthwhile replays? Or a slow mo recap?

  • I like it. Possibly for round two or three — RalphsRacers
