This Saturday marks the 10th and final race in our league this year. We will be bringing home multiple trophies again this year. Another trophy case has to be built!! Trophies go to the top 4 in each class. Each of the winning cars will run against each other in that class to be crowned the car of the year and another trophy.

Kids-Coby (newman39) has first place clinched. Has three wins on the season (two Ferrari 458 FTEs/one is a 2011 car of the year and an AeroFlash) Cade (kybusch18) is 3 points out of second place and can't fall below 4th place. He has one win in the class (Ferrari 458 FTE).

Rookies-My wife has raced when she can attend and is in 2nd place. She can't go any higher but should remain in the top 4. Need to keep 2nd place. Has two wins (67 Shelby GT500 (2012 release) and a Kasey Kahne race car). She is entering one of Coby's cars, a Power Pistons that was the 2010 Car of the Year in the rookie class to clinch that spot.

Slowpoke-The last to cross the line wins here. I am in fourth but just one point out of 3rd. Cade is in 5th and is four points behind me.

Feather Weight-Cade is locked into 2nd place. He has one win with a Jet Threat.

Truck-Cade is locked into 2nd place. He has two wins (2009 Ford F-150-Truck of the year in 2011 and the black Rescue Ranger)

Muscle Car-Coby is one point out of the lead and just 5 points ahead of 3rd and 4th place. He has two wins (Nitty Gritty Kitty and the Easter 67 Nova (Car of the year in 2011).

Heavy Metal-Cade has this championship clinched. He has two wins (Turbolence-Black and Ferrari 355). Coby is in 2nd with a 2 point lead over 3rd, 3 point lead over 4th, and a 5 point lead over 5th. He has one win with a Shadow Jet. Another Jet Threat he has, has gotten 2nd place the last two months.

Variety Class-Different theme each month. I have the championship locked up. Wins with 07 Chevy Tahoe (Emergency), 2010 Ford Mustang FTE (Unopened), and the T-Rex Troyer/Color Shifter (Creature Cars).

What they said!
And GOOD LUCK!

Our cars are going to have to step it up big time.

Someone from Western Iowa e-mailed the league and he will be coming to the Eastern side of the state for our races with:

Original RedLine S'Cool Bus
Original RedLine NoodleHead
Original Redline Sidekick
JL 69 Camaro (Have to assume the black with flames).

Some of the fastest known cars making a visit. Some of these cars I have never seen race in person, so it should be interesting. As everyone always says, it depends on the track. In October, a ringer came in from Illinois where his JL cars ruled his home league track. None of his cars made it into the top 4.

We are entering one of the JL 69 Camaro as well for the first time. But it wasn't new out of the package. Some guy had it displayed. It is good (not great) on my home track. But I can see how it gets out and really runs on the straightaway and we have a long straightaway on the 50 foot league track. We'll see....
