About this track
Born out of the longest COVID lockdown in NZ, it started as a cardboard S track.
After wanting a more consistent run with photo finishes and fewer wrecks, I invested in 3 x Crash Racers sets after researching what my favourite YouTube diecast racing channels used. Inspired by 3d, We Race Diecast and EP Videos Diecast Racing, Monster Diecast YouTube channels.
I have built a monster of a track with long straights, and 6 corners, one of which is a 540 degree spiral down to the finish line straight.
I am yet to decide an aesthetic for the backdrop but am currently working on strengthening the supports with wood, after having finessed the angles so stay tuned!
