About

Initial spark came from 3DBotmaker's videos but after seeing races in various other channels I knew what I wanted. See, open lane racing is fine but I try to "preserve" my cars from too much wear since I use mix of wheel swapped premiums and vintage cars, as well as more recent offerings. Basically any era as long they are metal/metal. And cars can be expensive here in Finland.

So, I got myself 3DBotmaker start gate (two actually, 2 and 4 lane), made custom 4-lane downhill and sourced out some HW 180 degree dual lane turns. To finish things off I have vintage HW finish gate. Downhill sections are made from vintage orange track pieces and taped over with some custom made sticker so that it looks like newer track builder black track with orange stripe. Rest of curved track is vintage orange track pieces. In the very end is cardboard stop box filled with bubble wrap. I also have 1/64 scale quarter mile track made from short track builder bits (black/orange stripe), mostly use 2-lane set-up but I do have full 4-lane set-up available too.
