About

This is as close to real drag racing as it gets on a fully custom built 1/64 scale drag strip! The track is made from 1x10" pine boards with two 1/8" x 1 3/8" grooves routed into them to guide the cars along. An interactive starting gate allows each driver to stage their car before the working Christmas tree gives the green light. The car is launched by pressing the gas pedal and elapsed times are measured by photo sensors embedded in the track.

During mail-in races where entrants are not present to drive their cars, the starting gate will be made to launch the cars simultaneously.
