About

Damnation Alley was inspired by the 1977 movie with the same name. I wanted to build a track that was theme based and started on 2 lanes of Orange Track and transitioned over to a Fat Track section via a jump. Damnation Alley has a 6' Drop at 42"... it then hits the 8' section called the Desert of Fire...which utilizes the 3D Botmaker finish gate as a checkpoint, hence because Damnation Alley awards points per run...first car through the checkpoint gets 1pt...the cars then hit the 2 lane jump and must clear 22" over the Lake of Slag...they then hit the landing ramp that feeds them into the Fat Track section called the Wastelands...the cars then race towards the Green Zone and the Bottleneck Finish...first car through gets 2pts...car's have a run in lanes 1 and 2...whoever has the most points after 2 runs wins the race and advances to the next round.
