No limits on wheels or axles. Only limits are those listed about, so build your best and let 'em roll.

Moved this tournament up to July 1 for entry deadline. I've decided to make the 1st of the month the deadline for all monthly RLD tournaments. Just keeps it easy to remember and manage.

The actual race will take place after that date. This gives me time to photograph, preview, etc.

I know for this race it's really soon after the Truck O Rama but since this is "anything goes" race, I figured a quick turn around is less of an issue...or you can enter a car from a previous tournament.

Or if this really throws everyone off, we can skip July and just kick off again August 1st.

...and thanks for the bump :) Yes, I know this deadline is very soon and there will be an extended grace period until the 8th, so if you need an extra weekend to build, go for it. I won't race until after the 8th.

I'll also be adding the prize here soon, and someone will win it. Even if there's only one entry, that person will get the prize, so don't let anyone get the easy win! Crack open a car, toss in some weight and zip it up - done. Any car entry is better than no car entry.

Interested.

I should build something unique this time.  We'll see if I can find some time to build something for the Derby track.

CometCurt and FatMike are working something up. We figure between both of us doing a part, we might get mine finished. I'll polish and he will install the wheels and axles. Now my question is the 2 cars per household rule, since we don't live together (Curtis is my son) are we 1 or 2 households? Do need 2 or 4 cars?      Thanks, FM

@FatMike...good question. I guess I consider "per household" interchangeable with "per family," so in your case I think the limit would still be 2 cars. That rule is just there to avoid people stacking the deck by sending in a ton of cars. Hope that doesn't tick anyone off.

Updated the top post with the prize photo. Found a pair of metal/metal Boulevard series cars. The T-Bucket is great hot rod casting and with that metal chassis can probably become a great donor for custom creation. Also updated the date to reflect the extension to July 8. Hopefully this will let more people get some cars into the mail, especially after the holiday.
