FOLKS - SOMEHOW THIS TOURNAMENT GOT DELETED FROM RLD. I HAD TO REPOST IT. UNFORTUNATELY, THE LIST OF ENTRIES HAS BEEN LOST. 36 BUILDERS SIGNED UP AND I HOPE YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
Rules & restrictions
- Modified entries only
- 65g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 1.87in. tall x 1.58in. wide
- Limit 1 entries per household
- Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
- Dry lube only (i.e. graphite, silicone)
- Casting must be sand rail/dune buggy style with a visible roll cage. Examples include Hotwheels Dune It Up, Hotwheels Off-Road Sandrail / Roll Cage, MBX Dune Buggy or Dune Chaser and the Mattel Sandrail Dune Buggy Gunner.
- Must have a driver unless the cockpit is enclosed. The bust of a driver glued on top of weight is allowed in an open cockpit. Fictional characters or animal drivers are also allowed, but the roll bars cannot be removed. No bikini girls or suggestive figures please.
- Themed entries are allowed. Example: Dystopian or apocalyptic-type buggy. Hand paint jobs are allowed to create your unique themed buggy.
- Limit is 1 entry per person; only one family member can race.
- Front wheels can be slicks or knobby tires.
- Rear wheels must be knobby tires, 14mm in diameter or larger is allowed.
- No sanding allowed on the wheels.

Racing will be on the Great Sand Dunes. View track profile and specs
Race format and scoring
36 entries allowed to sign up, top 32 after time trials will race.
4-round group races, 8-round finals.
Points 5-3-2-1. DNF = 0.
Penalties/DNF
Cars that fail to finish or fit on the track are not eligible to race. If your car arrives broken, I will attempt to repair it. If your car breaks during the filming of the races, I give no guarantee of fixing it, but I will try.
Prizes
The top 3 will receive a trophy and prizes! The top 4 will be published in the race results on RLD.

On a side note, is it $20 now if we want our cars back or is that the international fee? I realize this was probably cut and paste but want to be sure I send what I am supposed to. THX!
