Top Sportsman Series WASHINGTON
I've set the brackets for this weekend's racing(see link below) . There are two addition entries (Father and Son Teams associated with the Johnny Lightning Club). Got the okay from Carl, so we've added four more cars to the mix. I'm going to race Saturday night and try to complete the picture brackets throughout the racing for a 'real time' effect.

Here's a couple shots of the contestants running this weekend.
The new cars (red Viper and red Vette) belong to team F.O.T.F -fastest of the fast, and the Javelin and Camaro belong to team Sinister Dog. This is a father and son team from Connecticut.
just clicked on to the "WA. brackets" link...said what the ... then i realised that the #1 and #2 placing cars in sonora earned a bye for bellingham, very cool... perfect way to set the bracket for less than 16 racers... and maybe just maybe the big two won't like the weather in WA..... go sloppies go.
I based my brackets on a 14 team double elimination from PrintYourBrackets.com (I believe these are what most of you guys are using)
With this format, I had to give first round byes to somebody, so I thought it would be fitting to give them to the no. 1 and no. 2 cars. YET, it's not too late and I am open to suggestions.
Just got a bit of info on two of the new entries from Connecticut. The Viper and Corvette are stock Johnny's. Cameron, the car's owner, said he's even won a trophy with his Miss Scarlet car ('54 Corvette).
Can't wait to see how our FTE/Hot Wheel-based mods do against his proven 'Miss Scarlet' Johnny. Go Hot Wheels!!!

I appreciate the shout out and all, but this is not "my" series (and are any of the series really "mine"? ).
