The iconic film "Dazed & Confused" often inspires a theme of sorts with LYDC and the Deep Eddy Raceway, so it's high time we get some vintage muscle racing going. A party at the Moontower awaits the winner of this vintage muscle car tournament. Jump in to the new Deep Eddy Raceway and bring your best production model muscle car from the 60's-70's to the new track!

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entry per household
• Retail axles and black plastic wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• Production model muscle cars from the 60's & 70's.
• Weight must be concealed in the interior.
• Please strip and paint your car. Team/Racer themes and decals are encouraged.
• 61.1g and over will be DQ'd.
• Family friendly livery only, NO add-on's and NO body stretching.
• Heads up! Flared fenders and tucked wheels castings will not run on this track. 
• Unsure if it's allowed? Please ask in advance.

Race format and scoring

This will be a triple-elimination tournament. 1 car will move on in the bracket only when it wins the most points in a group round race. Cars will rotate lanes between each race. 8 laps 4 grid positions.

Race host has final decision in all races.

Group seeding will be based upon 2 test laps. For example: cars with lap time rankings 1/5/9/13 will be in a group etc...

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify to race.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will be repaired if possible or forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will be repaired or replaced if possible.
