This is a 1/4 mile drag strip located in Downtown Snow Valley, part of the Snow Valley Open Road Downhill Course. Four cars are entered once a month for a Friday Night Street Race. There are two races of two ... once and done. Lanes are randomly drawn and the winners go on to battle it out in a 3rd and final round for the over-all winner. The winner gets Dry Lube added to their wheels (courtesy of Snake, our Street Racing organizer) to then battle the Top 8 Cars on the Ladder, rung by rung.

At night Drivers meet at the Farmer's Market and compete head-to-head to see who is the fastest. The first to Matchedash St. South wins. Drivers hang out at either the Couchiching Craft Brewing Co., the Lone Wolf, or head over to Orillia Diecast. We don't condone Street Racing unless it is done at 1:64 scale.

Although you can mail-in, I recommend using one of our cars. Contact me with your DRIVER's name and preferred CASTING(s). If I can find you your casting, I will tee you up for the next available racing slot. If I don't have your casting, I will find it :-)

Once a Month for the entire year. This advertisement is for May - August 2021. April is our inaugural event but it is already FULL. I'm accepting Drivers/Castings for May to August for now.

If mail-in your ride, Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Approximately 10 feet of flat track. The starting gate is about 1 foot off the ground and will launch the cars. The track has divided lanes but goes through an active town. The finish line is just before the track narrows to a single lane. There is another 10 feet of run off area.

Race format and scoring

Once and done. There will be four cars entered. They will race in sets of two just once down the track. Random lane assignment. The two winners advance to a 3rd and final round to determine the winner of the night. That winner advances to challenge the rungs on the Top 8 Driver's Ladder.  Before competing on the Ladder, Snake will be applying Dry Lube to your wheels to make you more competitive.  Good Luck!

If your car is found to be in vilolation of any of the rules, your ride will be forfited to Snake and victory given to the car you are racing against (or substatuted for another Driver/Car if available).

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Cars provided by Snake are guaranteed to pass inspection and function with out incident during the racing event or Snake with personally provide you with another car.

The honour of being the Top Driver. Also, at some point the Top 8 Drivers may get to compete on the Snow Valley Open Road Downhill Track.
