This tournament is stop number 4 of the 2022 Diecast Drag Racing Season schedule.  Now, this race was called "The Equalizer" for a reason.  We will be racing Real Riders!  This should definetily throw a wrench into things.  This could be the race where a new builder gets their first win over the big boys.  This should shake up the season points a little as well.  Good luck

There will be a trophy for the winner and additional prizes for the top 4.

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament.  Cars will get one run in each lane.  If the race is split the fastest run moves on.  In the semi finals and final each car will get two runs in each lane with the cars alternating lanes between each race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random using an online randomizer.

Points for the race will follow the 2022 Diecast Drag Racing Season rules of:

  • 1st - 6 points
  • 2nd - 4 points
  • 3rd - 3 points
  • 4th - 2 points
  • All other positions will receive 1 point.

The stated weight limit is a maximum.  So, don't be over weigth.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will be replaced with a standby entry if available.  If one isn't available the offending cars will still race will still race, but not advance to the second round.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

I apologize for the inconvenience but I need to lighten my load the next few months and have to drop out of this race. Wanted to give someone else the opportunity
