Make sure you write your own review here when you get it, then there can be an official RLD write-up.
I interviewed the guy who made it not long ago...

Was sent a link about this setup by a local HW club member...very interesting indeed.
I realize it's a trade secret of sorts, but I'm trying to think of a material that could provide that little friction...wax paper? Glossy paper of some sort? Plastic tablecloth? Perhaps I'll experiment with it a bit.
- I thought wax paper as well for starters, and the glossy side of a poster board to get the pitch right??? — CrzyTrkrDude
- in the video, it almost looks like frying pan Teflon. Do they make that in spray form? — CrzyTrkrDude
- What about that new "no stick" pad for BBQ grills, or the cookie sheet size? — CrzyTrkrDude
- It could also be Coroplast, the plastic used for yard signs. — HarvestmanMan

I'm thinking that just like we guys like to build custom cars we just might like to make our own custom drift pad as part of a race course. Hey maybe for the Trans Am that's coming up.......Stroller
