"NO EVOS ALLOWED" [ FULL ]

Street racing down the roads of "La Caridura Racetrack",starting at the Yokahu tower in El Yunque National Rainforest down to the fortified wall at The Old San Juan City !!! Who's going to be the first driver to dominate the roads of "La Caridura"?

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 1.75in. tall x 1.25in. wide (limited by starting gate lights height)
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• Vehicles must fit Hot Wheels orange track
• Custom paint job encouraged but not required , you're welcome to make it your own
• All weight must be concealed inside the vehicle
• Tinted or painted windows are ok
• Chassis must match the body
• Retail axles and wheels
• Opening wheelwells ...OK
• If graphics are used please keep them family friendly ,not offensive in any way ,thanks .
• Remember has to be a real production vehicle not fantasy any model any year and of course NO EVOS from any year .
• Please include an Entry Id. slip with your entry

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Sunday, 1/14/2024. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 1/21/2024. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $8.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back.If you're from outside the continental US please include at least $15.00 for shipping your entry back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Race format and scoring

This will be a double elimination tournament , format as follows:

Qualifying runs follwed by 4 rounds of points racing :

1st place 5 pts. / 2nd place 3pts./ 3rd place 2pts / 4th place 1 pt.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race ( except for offensive graphics). Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
