Race ideas for 2018...

Hey Guys,

It's really nice to be back, racing on RLD again. This past year was a crazy one for me and I'm glad I've had this little break where I could get some racing in. 

Unfortunately, my work schedule is ramping right back up again, so the first few months of 2018 will be quiet ones for me, as far as the racing goes. Chinese New Year and Toy Fair are both events that force the toy industry to kick it into high gear. We need to get as much work done over the next few months as we can to have product ready for Summer and Fall.

But, I am planning some events!! I want to revive the Crew Chief Challenge (the last one ended abruptly, and I never found out what happened to the cars). I'd like to have a Gasser Wars race (if you don't know about them, check out the South Gassers...they are awesome!). And I want to host two old time favorites, Bare Muscle, winner take all race, and the Cops and Robbers winner take all! These are all races that I hope to run in 2018...and the Beetle Bash race might be fun to revisit as well as Pony Wars always is a fun race.

I've talked about having a 'Nationals' event several times...with 4 different classes (rip-n-race Stock, Ringer Stock, Modified and Unlimited)...this event would be really cool...I just need to see how things are going.

So, for now, the Flying Colors race will be my last race until about Spring. But, after that, there should be some cool events in the months to come.

Oh, and I will be trying to get some cars ready for LJLRC's time attack race in January...more about that in another post.
