Hot Wheel Track Problem
I have the sectional pieces of track from HW and some of the cars that I run down the track can drag where the track sections connect...anyone else having these problems? Also I have 50ft of seamless track from HW and was also wondering what do you do to keep it laying flat and stop it from curling once you unroll it?

For track joints I think a lot of it is just use over time, however I have noticed that the connector piece that goes in the track slots can make a difference. I have shorter connectors that came with a playlet that are a bit thicker than the normal white connectors I get at TRU. The white connectors are also more flexible for the transition.
As I've purchased newer track sections I have noticed that they create more bump at the joints. I try my best to rotate them when I out my track together so they can get broken in.
The reverse rolling of the seamless does the trick!
I have several sections of orange track that weren't squarely cut from the factory and have sizable gaps when put together. I use track width-sized strips of low-mil(ie: thin) electrical tape over the gaps and it seems to help. If the tape is thin enough, it can be less obtrusive than an exposed gap...it will also hold pieces of track together.
Thanks for all the "Track Tips". Just wondering if the seamless track is effected by temperature, example: warm track cool floor, causing track to twist due to the temp change...etc. just wondering?

I put the track pieces upside down and square the ends with a radial saw. I think that is the name. It is a circular saw attached to an arm that you can bring down on your material. It seems like when all tracks have to be squared, even Sizzlers Fat Track.
On the short peices, if you bend or flair the edges out at the uphill part of the section that will help with the transition...did that make sense?
On the seamless...roll it in reverse and tape it and leave it rolled up for a few days. Don't roll it too tightly. On my 50' track I only have 3 sections of velcro to hold it in place...lays very flat. And yes it's very sensative to temperature and sunlight. It can expand quite a bit when heated. I try to keep it out of direct sunlight.
You need to roll the track in reverse to go agaisnt the grain of what it was stored as.
