My new speed demon

Jobe Saturday, 8/7/2010

oh yeah, my bitchin' 1998 Dodge Caravan is going to take out some competition.

Go Soccer Mom!

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

FTE wheels and fixed axles and weighted significantly.
Beats my Custom Super Van Ambulance by almost a full car length

I was going to strip it and paint it that generic champagne beige but decided against it.

Anyone know if I can remove the decals without messing up the paint? Nail polish remover?

Nail polish remover will undo tampos, I've done that before. Takes a but of elbow grease but it works.

Aw man, the competition for my Mustang just got fierce! Curse you!!

Funny you mention the color because I have a can of brown can touch-up paint that I had for my '89 Celebrity I had in high school. When is Mattel gonna make a Celebrity model?! LOL

LOL...the most wrong name for a car! My grandparents had a brown Celebrity as well...maybe an 87 or earlier. I saw one at a local garage the other day and it brought back some memories.

Good for you, I don't race my own cars in the races...just like to race the fastest one afterward to see how it stands up to the competition. Hopefully I will have the chance to race others on Variation Jason's track when he comes to Austin for the local HW collectors club meeting. Looking forward to that.

The Caravan is an above average racer. FTE's should make it even better!
Not only that but you have lots of room inside to add weight

It was a popular model the first few years that it was released. They don't
use it very much nowadays.
