Shiftable Weight

Any thoughts out there on if this is possible to do inside the tiny compartment of a HWs car? Where the weight inside your car shifts to the front as it heads downhill. Once it levels off, the weight is no longer pressed down onto the front axle and is now centered in the middle of your car?

Maybe you could make some rails for a weight , ball I would think, to roll on. I thought about this to but I have no building skills. So far.

how about a loose catch holding the spring loaded weight where you want it to start... vibration could be the release, letting the weight slide after the downhill ...

The coming back is the part that I think is the hard part. Only thing I was thinking was an upward placed piece of thin wire (higher at the front of the car) with a floating weight that resides on that wire. When it hits the straight way, gravity would do its part and pulling it back to the middle of the car (with a stop so it doesn't go back to far).

Not sure if that would work or not or if it would actually accomplish anything.

I've often thought of this as well...my thought water or liquid. I have zero idea how or what to do to make that happen, but thought it would be a natural and easy shift of weight. I dunno...the scale is probably too small anyway but hey if some guy can make a Hot Wheels Dyno then a water weight isn't out of the question!

you're onto something B,
liquid in a tube that is tilted down slightly toward the rear... liquid would be at the front on the incline but would flow down to the bottom [rear] of the tube on the runout....hard to find heavy water these days... how about BB's ?

Like Mercury in a thermostat.
